We are currently seeking reliable and friendly Volunteers to assist us with three key projects:

Gardening Volunteers
Have some spare time on a weekly basis and consider yourself green fingered? Great! We need you! We are looking for helpers to come and tidy up our beautiful grounds at The Old Rectory. Duties will include regular site maintenance through clearing weeds and brambles, cutting back hedges, shredding, painting fences, and planting new shrubs to bring some life and beauty back to our site.

Parents and Tots Group
We are looking for Group Assistants to help us plan and run activities for our weekly tots group for parents/carers and children up to 3 years old. Duties will include setting up the group space indoors and outdoors with toys and activities every Wednesday morning from 10am, assisting and interacting with the parents and children, engaging in creative play, leading arts and craft sessions and helping to clear away at the end of the session. There will also be opportunities to be involved in holiday events for families. Experience of working with children and families is a plus and a full DBS check would also be a bonus but not essential as we can apply for this for you.

Loveliness Festival 2015
We need some lovely Event Stewards and Assistants to help us with the setting up, running and pack away of our Loveliness Festival on Saturday 25th July 12pm-8pm. Shifts are set on a rota basis so we can work around your other commitments. Duties include selling event tickets, raffle tickets and merchandise, stewarding cars to parking sites, helping to erect marquees and gazebos, positioning signs on site, ensuring site is clear of rubbish throughout the event , assisting visitors, supervising bouncy castle and other activities, leading simple activities and helping to pack away at the end of the event.

As always we really appreciate the support we have from volunteers and would not be able to produce such amazing and successful work without your help! Any expenses incurred during volunteering are reimbursed.

If you would be interesting in lending us a hand for any of the above opportunities then please contact Amy for more information or for a Volunteer Registration form via email ahill@interactionmk.org.uk or call 01908 678514.
