‘Music is my remedy’
Sometimes listening to music can voice what you’re going through, and you can switch off from the world and tune in.
Dom Rampello and singer Jamie Stimpson will be giving you a quick insight to the music industry, talking about recording and the
whole process of making a song. Students will get the chance to produce something themselves in a professional recording studio with Mister Vee or have a go at writing their own lyrics.
10 places available for young people aged between 11-18.
We can only offer one workshop per school so please contact
Jesita ASAP to express interest and to book. Via email in the first instance at

Inter-Action MK are developing a project which will lead to a positive, young people led Mental Health Campaign for young people in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for young people to take part in a creative project that aims to raise awareness of mental health in young people, where to get help and their ideas for how to help and support other individuals who are having a hard time.
Creative experiences are a great way to engage young people who may not usually be drawn to social action or find it hard to articulate issues.
These creative sessions led by artists and mentors will provide opportunities for young people experiencing mental health challenges to take charge, express themselves and support a process of devising effective communications – reaching out to others in similar situations.
From these sessions and alongside other consultations we will be recruiting a Core group who will help us to co create a youth-led and youth-focused, city-wide Mental Health Campaign that uses the arts to share views and ideas. We want to work with a range of young people to explore the realities of mental health amongst young people.
