Recollections MK

From its historic base at The Old Rectory Inter-Action MK has been pioneering Community Arts in Milton Keynes for 35 years, growing with the city and helping local communities to develop. With a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Inter-Action MK has created a digital archive of over 17,000 images, documents and audio-visual material that records the history of the organisation.

Seventeen young people from Milton Keynes worked with film-maker Chris Bradley to create an animated film reflecting Inter-Action MK’s history. The film was premiered at the Metro Bar on 21 June 2010

Stantonbury Campus students and past project participants worked with artist Beth Webster to create A Trail Through Inter-Action MK’s History. A selection of this artwork were displayed at the Milton Keynes Gallery Project Space for the evening of 21 June. they will eventually be sited at the Old Rectory.
